Classes are run on request so please simply get in contact to arrange a suitable time and date. Classes are small and friendly with 2-4 students which allows me to offer personalised tuition and attention. This class can be booked as a one off and followed by weekly or fortnightly 1.5hr drop in sessions to explore your ideas further. 

Explore the meditative practice of art journaling where you will experiment with paint, drawing, mark making and collage techniques to develop sketchbook pages through intuitive self expression.  

Develop your own visual language by experimenting with different tools and approaches for creating marks and textures. Draw on your inner thoughts and indulge in the freedom of expression choosing colours and themes which resonate with you.

A fully immersive class exploring the art of sketchbooking using acrylic paints and assorted collage elements. 

Discover new ways of mixing colours and applying paint with a variety of techniques. 

Develop your own visual language by experimenting with different tools and approaches to create marks and textures which you love.  

Find a deep sense of tranquility in each considered stroke, mindful and intuitive.

Release your inner self and indulge in the freedom of expression by drawing on colours and themes which resonate with you.

Release stress, anxiety, frustrations or pain by writing & painting it out for a cathartic therapeutic session of healing through art.

Indulge in some precious 'me' time to relax, recharge your batteries and improve your mental wellbeing.

There is no right or wrong and I will be there to teach you various approaches for laying down your thoughts, memories, impressions and emotions with paint and ephemera for a multilayered look.  And if that sounds too personal or intrusive, fear not as it's entirely up to you how you interpret the lessons and apply it in your sketchbook for self expression or visual experimentation.

No prior art experience or 'artistic talent' necessary.

Level: Suitable for absolute beginners to more advanced artists who wish to extend their creative practice with dedicated sketchbook time for experimentation using various approaches.
