Fireflies in Moonlight
Artwork on 60cm x 60cm deep canvas
Feel the enveloping embrace of natureas you slip into the flourishing undergrowth where insects chirp, birds call, leaves rustle and fireflies flicker under the moonlight gently filtering through the canopy. Be inspired by a sense of magic and restorative healing, as you connect with Mother Earth and her bounty. Painted intuitively, this abstract celebrates our connection with nature and explores the biodiversity on earth, verdant with holistic greens, soulful blues, pops of lime citrus and abstract foliage glittering under the moonlight.
Symbolically, Fireflies & Moonbeamsrepresents our unity under one sky where this notion of gazing at the moon through the nature filled canopy becomes harmoniously integrated with our everyday life - whether that’s balconies brimming with greenery or rainforests flourishing under our protection – as we seek to bring nature to the forefront of our minds and decisions.
Tropical forests make up 6% of the earth’s surface, produce 40% of oxygen, host around 80% of the world’s documented species, house plants used in modern medicine, trap large amounts of carbon dioxide and are intrinsic to human existence and the earths healthy climate. Protecting the rainforests and halting deforestation is vital for earth’s survival and the biodiversity it supports. You can read more from these wonderful charities and see how you can make small lifestyle changes to protect the rainforests World Wildlife Fund, Cool Earth, Rainforest Alliance On the topic of making positive changes to reverse the effect of climate change, it's well worth watching A Life on Our Planet with Sir David Attenborough which is incredibly inspiring
