Every one of my collections burst into life with these smaller pieces on paper which reflect my initial response to an outside influence in a free flow form of expression, choosing marks, textures and colour intuitively.
For this series it has been my pure delight at being able to convey the feeling of moonlit seas and paradisiacal island vacations through paintings flooded with transparent fluid paints and blended layers glimmering golden in the sunlight. At 8"x10" framed, they're a good size for bring a coastal boho vibe to an space.
