Over the past two months, I’ve been quietly immersed in creating a new series while settling into life at my NEW open studio and shop. It’s been such a joy to welcome visitors, share conversations about inspiration and process and hear which paintings have resonated with you. I’ve loved seeing the pieces you’ve chosen to take home and I’ve equally enjoyed the playful side of running my own shop—refreshing window displays, rearranging the walls and decorating the space for Christmas. It’s been a fun start to this next chapter of my art practice.
This Saturday, the studio transformed comfortingly pink as I unveiled the Love Letters Series 💌—a brand-new collection of layered abstract paintings in blush tones, warm ochres and grounding earthy colours. Inspired by slower days and the soft shift of the season, each piece is built through warming expressive layers, organic looping marks and subtle heart motifs. Together they capture gentle movement and the uplifting energy that only love—and the right song lyric—can bring. I poured so much love into these pieces while enjoying the slow change in the seasons—those moments when the leaves turned yellow, time quietened just a little and the low afternoon sun cast everything in a warm, gentle hue.
This is the first full series to emerge from my new studio space and it feels incredibly special to share it with you in person. Please do pop in, browse the collection and let me know what you think. Prices start from £25 for framed colour studies, and I also have a lovely selection of gifts including velvet eye masks, printed cushions and stocking fillers like hand-painted key rings or ceramic ornaments.

And a little festive news— thisThursday, 4th December, I’ll be open 10am–3:30pm and again between 6-8pm along with the other independent shops in The Shambles for late-night Christmas shopping. Expect music, mince pies and a warm, welcoming evening with a special look at the new series. The Secret Gallery, The Museum of Board Games, Boutique 8, Toadstools Bookshop and Yesterday’s Today Antiques & Curios will all be open too.
