Breathe some crisp mountain air into your home with these fresh alpine landscapes.
What started out as a loose exploration of Viking culture evolved by listening to Norse legends, Welsh tales, and Scottish folklore recounted by storyteller Daniel Allison (on his Spotify podcast House of Legends : World Myths).
Through stories thick with mystery and fantasy, life lessons were woven into enchanting worlds where the characters' quiet courage prevailed as they travelled across lush foreign lands and overcame adversity.
My paintings took shape with abstract mountain landscapes in a fresh palette of earthy peach tones, soothing light greens, dark olive green undertones and tiny coral highlights.
Reminiscent of the rolling Swiss Alps in Spring, these landscapes have that fairytale quality about them with sweeping valleys, soaring mountain ranges, wildflower meadows and a scattering of log cabins.
