Desert Snow

Enveloped in the cocooning silence of freshly fallen snow over an expansive desert. Soft earthy coloured pigments saturate the pages of these Desert Snow landscapes on paper in soothing cactus, deep olive and warm terracotta hues. Created using a mix of techniques of printing, sketching, painting, etching and drawing for a multi layered effect.

Each series has a story woven through, connecting the pieces through common colour, processes or theme. Often there is poetry written within the layers or accompanying the art work themselves.
