Sara is a textile artist whose work is inspired by the ever- changing beauty of the Forest of Dean, where she has lived for over 25 years. She combines drawing, layered fabrics and both hand and machine stitching to create richly detailed artworks. Inspired by wildlife, gardens and storytelling, Sara's work explores colour, texture and
memory, creating beautifully intricate pieces which are best seen up close. The pieces selected for the Tropical exhibition are rich in colour and explore themes of rewilding through whimsical flora and fauna.
