Gilly Hill is an artist whose work is inspired by her lifelong love of Africa, having spent much of her life in Zambia and South Africa before settling near Gloucester. Her passion for birds began through photography, with her images appearing on cards, postcards and in exhibitions. Painting later became a focus, bringing together her love of wildlife, colour and observation. In 2023, her painting On the Road 2 was selected for the prestigious Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
